Σοκ έχει προκαλέσει η απρόκλητη επίθεση ενός 23χρονου «Ιρλανδού» πολίτη στις 29 Ιουλίου στο Δουβλίνο κατά αστυνομικού.
Ο «Ιρλανδός» με το… παραδοσιακό ιρλανδέζικο όνομα Abdullah Khan, επιτέθηκε στον αστυνομικό κατά της διάρκεια πεζής περιπολίας φωνάζοντας το γνωστό Allahu Akbar μαχαιρώνοντας τον αστυνομικό πολλές φορές ο οποίος σώθηκε από το γιλέκο που φορούσε.
