Οι ιρανικές μυστικές υπηρεσίες ανακοίνωσαν πως κατάσχεσαν ένα «μεγάλο φορτίο εξοπλισμού κατασκοπείας και δολιοφθοράς».
Σύμφωνα με τις ίδιες πηγές, το φορτίο περιελάμβανε παράνομες συσκευές Starlink και προερχόταν από μια «χώρα της περιοχής» και προοριζόταν να διανεμηθεί σε επαρχίες που επλήγησαν από αναταραχές.

The shipment included:
• 100 long-range receivers
• 50 BTS signal amplifiers
• 743 5G modems

Μέρος του εξοπλισμού προοριζόταν επίσης για κατασκοπεία κοντά σε στρατιωτικές και πυραυλικές εγκαταστάσεις «για τον επόμενο πόλεμο».
