Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες, η αστυνομία επιβεβαίωσε πως αρκετοί άνθρωποι δέχθηκαν πυροβολισμούς στην οδό West Chicago Avenue, στο μπλοκ 300. Μάλιστα, αξιωματούχος της περιοχής ανέφερε πως συνολικά 19 άτομα δέχθηκαν πυροβολισμούς, εκ των οποίων τρεις έχασαν τη ζωή τους, από επίθεση οχήματος που πυροβολούσε εν κινήσει (drive-by shooting).
