Η Ρωσία απηύθυνε δεύτερη επίσημη προειδοποίηση σε δραματικούς τόνους προς το Ιράν, αναφέροντας ότι οι ΗΠΑ και το Ισραήλ ετοιμάζονται για επίθεση μέσα στα επόμενα 24ωρα.
Σύμφωνα με τη ρωσική πλευρά, το Πεντάγωνο ενισχύει ταχύτατα την παρουσία του στην περιοχή παρά τις διπλωματικές δηλώσεις, με περίπου 50.000 στρατιώτες (συμπεριλαμβανομένων μονάδων της Δύναμης Ειδικών Επιχειρήσεων Delta και της 82ης Αερομεταφερόμενης Μεραρχίας), περίπου 500 αεροσκάφη και την μετακίνηση του αεροπλανοφόρου «George Bush» και άλλων πλοίων κρούσης, που δείχνει ολοκλήρωση του ναυτικού αποκλεισμού.

The USS George H.W. Bush and its strike group are likely somewhere east of Madagascar right now, heading north. They could arrive in the Persian Gulf in 7 to 10 days.
